Man charged for killing friend's dog

Investigators say a man abused his friend's dogs, killing one of them, but he doesn't know why he did it.

The Sandy man admitted to killing one dog and abusing another. Court documents say the man was watching his friend's dogs at his home when he choked them. He also grabbed them by the neck and threw them against the wall and floor.

The man was charged with two misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty.
