Graduates given diplomas with incorrect date

PLEASANT VIEW, Utah (AP) -- About 550 Weber High School graduates received diplomas that have the wrong date on them. Each diploma lists May 22 as the graduation date, but commencement was held two days earlier.

Pam Drake, an assistant principal, says school leaders didn't notice the mistake until after graduation.

A member of student government was the first to point out the error. Drake says any students who want to have their diploma reprinted with the correct date will be given a new one.
