WEST VALLEY CITY — A 36-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with a car on Sunday.
Adam Schmith was riding on 4100 South near 4400 West about 7 p.m. when he "collided with the car," according to West Valley police. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to police.
The occupants of the car were not injured, police said.
Police are looking for the drivers of a red truck and a dark sedan who are believed to have witnessed the crash and may be able to provide additional information to investigators about what happened. Anyone with information on the crash can call police at 801-840-4000.
