CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. delivery was up 2 cents at $5.0460 a bushel; Dec. corn gained 3.40 cents at $3.70 a bushel; Dec. oats rose 2.60 cents at $2.9220 bushel while Jan. soybeans advanced 18 cents at 8.9240 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec.live cattle was off .02 cent at $1.1498 a pound; Nov. feeder cattle rose .10 cent at $1.49 a pound; Dec. lean hogs was up .18 cent at .5768 a pound.
