SALT LAKE CITY -- Fire damaged a garage in Salt Lake City overnight.

Dispatchers received calls simultaneously from neighbors and police officers who happened to be driving past the home on the 1000 north block of Oakley Street when flames erupted around 1:30 a.m.
Crews arrived within minutes but not before flames had reached through the roof of the detached garage. Firefighters knocked down the blaze before it reached the house.
Damage is estimated at $50,000, which includes a vehicle that burned.
No one was injured. Firefighters aren't sure what caused the fire.
