SALT LAKE CITY -- Smith's Food and Drug stores teamed up with their customers to make a huge donation to the Utah Food Bank Friday.
Store executives delivered more than 12,000 grocery items and 1,400 turkeys to the charity. The donation represents 58,000 meals.
It was all made possible through customer purchases through Smith's fifth annual Gift of Giving program.
