CEDAR CITY -- A Cedar City man will stand trial on charges he murdered his wife.
Tristan Jared Lamoreaux, 24, is accused of shooting his wife in the head five times during a fight on Aug. 23. At the time of his arrest, Lamoreaux claimed his wife was trying to kill herself and the gun went off as he tried to wrestle it away from her.
Lamoreaux is also charged with possession of a firearm by a restricted person and fleeing from police.
