SANDY -- Owners of a clothing store in Sandy will spend the day sifting through damage caused by an early morning fire.

Someone driving by the Layers Clothing store near 9100 South and 500 West around 1:30 a.m. saw smoke and flames pouring from the roof of the building and called 911.
Firefighters arrived and had to cut through a multi-layered roof before they were able to knock down the fire.
No one was injured.
Investigators are on scene looking for a cause.
