(KSL News) Utah's First Lady wants to honor great kids in the state.

Mary Kaye Huntsman, Utah's First Lady: "we tend to talk about the negatives, but we're here to say that there are good things that kids do that lift others lives and probably change kids lives one story at a time and we want to recognize those stories."

As part of the "Power in You" program junior high and high school administrators will nominate one student who has made a difference in other students' lives.

At the end of the year, those students will receive an award from Governor Huntsman and a gift certificate to Wal-Mart.
