Ski resorts plan opening dates for next month

SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah's ski resorts are hoping for snow soon as they plan their opening dates.

Solitude plans to be the first Utah ski resort open this year with an anticipated start date of Nov. 13.

Anticipated opening dates

  • Nov. 13: Solitude
  • Nov. 16-21: Brighton, Alta, Park City and Snowbird
  • Nov. 26-28: The Canyons, Powder Mountain, Snowbasin
  • Dec. 5: Deer Valley
