SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A 26-year-old man was sent to the hospital after someone attacked him --- slashing his throat.
Police say it happened yesterday as the man was sitting against a fence near a vacant parking lot in Salt Lake City.
When officers arrived, the man had his throat wrapped in a cloth and was trying to stop the bleeding. However, police say the man was able to give them a description of the person who attacked him. The man was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
Authorities say the instrument used in the attack was NOT found. So far, a motive is also unknown.
