Press ReleasePROVO -- Cougar fans interested in seeing the 2009 BYU football team during Fall Camp are invited to attend three practices that will be open to the general public.

The first open practices are scheduled for the first day of two-a-days on Friday, Aug. 14, with both the 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. practices being open to the public. The 5 p.m. practice will be open to help those who may otherwise have difficulty attending during the day.

The team's practice on Tuesday, Aug. 18 will also be open to the public. The practice on the 18th begins at 10 a.m. and is the same day of the annual Cougar Kickoff event held to meet the team that evening at 6 p.m. Taking place during Education Week, the practice on the 18th also provides fans attending the annual campus event with opportunity to see the team.

All practices will be held on the team practice field, which is located just north of the Student Athlete Building. Fans are reminded that the use of video or camera equipment, including cell phone cameras, is not permitted during practice sessions.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 3, Cougar fans can also obtain this year's game-day t-shirt to wear at games and show support for the team. The annual game-day shirt costs just $5 and can be purchased at the BYU Bookstore. This year's shirt will also recognize the 25-year anniversary of BYU's 1984 National Championship season. The shirt will include the same 25-Year Silver Anniversary Logo that will be on the player's helmets for every game in 2009.
