PROVO -- Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery early Monday morning of a Provo pharmacy.

Walgreens released some high-quality surveillance images of the suspect who got away with several bottles of Oxycontin and Oxycodone.

An acquaintance of the man recognized him from the photos, and now Provo police know who they are looking for. Police believe he is 23-year-old Jack Rader of Las Vegas.

He's believed to be driving a green Ford F-150 pickup truck with Nevada plates. The passenger-side mirror and tail light are damaged. Investigators say there are some indications he may be heading to the Las Vegas area.

Police say the man entered the Walgreens at 1315 N. State in Provo at about 1 a.m. and talked with employees for about an hour before leaving.

He returned at about 3:40 a.m. and again began chatting with employees. About 20 minutes later, the conversation suddenly changed.

Capt. Cliff Argyle, of the Provo Police Department, said, "He tells the pharmacist he wants Oxycontin and Oxycodone, takes out a pistol and jumps across the counter, escorts the pharmacist back to where the Oxycontin and Oxycodone is, and he gets a grocery bag out and puts some bottles in it and leaves the store."

Security cameras caught very detailed images of the suspect, who can be seen pointing a gun.

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Mr. Rader or sees Mr. Rader is encouraged to call their local police department, or contact Provo police dispatch at 801-852-6210, or Detective Hubbard at 801-852-7248.
