SALT LAKE COUNTY -- Three people will stand trial for the death of an 18-year-old boy who was gunned down at a West Valley City golf course.
Jeremiah Williamson, 26, Spencer Cater, 18, and Shardice Malaga, 19, appeared in court for a preliminary hearing Friday during which the judge ordered them to stand trial.
They're charged with murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery in connection with the death of JoJo Brandstatt.
Prosecutors say the three shot and killed Brandstatt Feb. 5 because he was wearing a rival gang's color.
