PROVO -- A 95-year-old hiker rescued Saturday after spending the night in an embankment has died.
George Jarvis went hiking Friday in Rock Canyon Park. When he didn't return, a search was launched.
Saturday, a woman driving by noticed movement on the side of the road and discovered Jarvis, trapped in a 30-foot embankment, where he had fallen.
At the time of his rescue, we were told he had only minor cuts and bruises, but the Daily Herald is reporting Jarvis has died of injuries sustained in the hike.
