EAGLE MOUNTAIN -- A girl in Eagle Mountain got quite a surprise when she walked over to look at what she thought was a large trapped dog near her home Saturday afternoon.
Actually it was a mountain lion.
Isabelle Butcher said she watched the cat run down the road near 8900 Torrey Pines Loop then disappear.
"It was running down the street. It came up, jumped, hit a window and fell into the window well," she said.
The mountain lion stayed in the window well until men with tranquilizer guns peeked in. Then the cat took off.
Wildlife officers did track it down, tranquilized it and moved it back to the wild.
