LOGAN -- For the second year in a row, Utah State University's rocket team launched ahead of the competition in a national contest.
NASA's annual Student Launch Initiative challenges students to design, build and fly reusable rockets and return them safely to Earth. USU students beat 18 other college teams.
The team gets a $5,000 prize and an invitation to attend a space shuttle launch at Kennedy Space Center in Florida this fall.
