DAVIS COUNTY -- Davis County is planning a special salute this Memorial Day weekend to those who gave their lives for their country.
Friday members of American Legion Farmington Post 27 placed hundreds of flags on the graves of war veterans at Farmington City Cemetery and Kaysville City Cemetery.
Legionnaires will conduct memorial services, complete with formal military honors, on Monday morning at both sites. The service at Farmington City Cemetery begins at 10 a.m.; the event at Kaysville City Cemetery begins at 11 a.m.
