SANDY -- Fire awoke two people sleeping inside their Sandy home Sunday morning.
The fire apparently started somewhere in the basement of the home near 7600 South and 3700 East.
Fire crews were able to put it out before it spread.
Fire officials say the blaze caused between $5,000 and $10,000 worth of damage.
They're still investigating the cause of the fire. No one was hurt.
