Court documents in this case now show that police served a search warrant in a basement apartment in Provo. There they found blood stains on the carpet and a baby's blanket.

Witnesses have told authorities that Baldemar Espiono and Yudeth Lopez told family members that the baby had died, but those witnesses have different stories about how the baby died. One said she drowned, another report is that the baby died from falling down the stairs.

While authorities wait for more conclusive evidence from the baby's autopsy about what really happened to the baby, they have filed an arrest warrant for both parents on charges of desecration of human body.

It is hard to say from the information released on whether the baby could have been saved if the parents had called for medical help or if it was already too late.

The warrants for her parents are on the nationwide criminal index, so they can be arrested anywhere in the United States if they are located.
