Following indications that the swine flu has arrived in Utah, several schools and businesses have announced closures in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus. Some events around the state have also been canceled or postponed. For a complete list, see below:

- Park City High School -- closed until May 10
- The Learning Center -- closed until May 10
- Ecker Hill International Middle School -- closed until May 10
- Treasure Mountain International School -- closed until May 10
- Jeremy Ranch Elementary School -- closed until May 10
- McPolin Elementary School -- closed until May 10
- Trailside Elementary School -- closed until May 10
- Parley's Park Elementary School -- closed until May 10

- Judge Memorial Catholic High School -- closed until May 5

Events
Summit County
- All Park City Municipal Corporation youth recreation and library programs -- canceled through May 4
- All youth programs at the Basin Recreation Field House -- canceled until further notice
- Mountain Trails May 2 Cinco de Mayo 5K -- postponed until May 16
Religious Services
LDS Church
- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is canceling all church meetings and services for congregations in the Park City area -- canceled through May 4
- The Church is also canceling all worship services in Mexico City until further notice. LDS Missionaries assigned to serve in Mexico are remaining in the Missionary Training Centers in Provo and Mexico City, also until further notice. [Click here for more info]
