(KSL News) A psychology instructor from Weber State University has been charged with sexual battery.
Edward Gardiner is accused of groping a student who came to him for counseling back in August.
The Deseret Morning News reports Gardiner offered his services as a couselor to the students in his psychology class.
He has been placed on paid administrative leave. He is scheduled to appear in court in November.
