KEARNS -- A man allegedly steals another person's puppy and gets arrested for drugs.
Police say a 32-year-old man allegedly stole the puppy worth $300 from the victim near 3100 South and 2000 West on Feb. 25.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports the man stole the puppy while the owner was taking it outside because the dog's owner apparently owed him money.
The dog owner tracked down the man and confronted him. They began to argue, and police were called in to break up the fight.
While police searched the suspected robber, they found meth.
He is now faces several charges including possession of a controlled substance and theft.
