(KSL News) -- A woman was killed in a car crash on I-215 near 4900 South this morning.
There were three women and a two-year old in the car. It was heading south on I-215 west when the driver lost control. The car crossed a few lanes of traffic and ran into a silver car.
The woman was sitting in the back seat of a gold car and was thrown from the car and died at the scene. The two other women were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the silver car was flown to the hospital after complaining about breathing problems.
The two-year old was in a car seat and was not injured.
Officials are investigating if anyone was wearing seatbelts and if speed was a factor.
