WENDOVER -- A new 10,000 square foot terminal officially opened at the historic Wendover Airfield Wednesday.
The city built it to accommodate growing passenger traffic in to Wendover.
The airfield has quite a history. World War II -bomber crews trained there.
Paul Tippetts and the crew of a B-29 called the Enola Gay took off from Wendover on its way to drop an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan.
