GM's third-quarter US sales fall

Oct 1 — ​General Motors reported a ‌drop in ⁠third-quarter ​US ⁠sales ‌on Thursday, ‌as high ⁠gasoline ⁠prices weigh on demand for new vehicles.

The ‌company's ​overall quarterly sales fell 5.5% to 670,974 ​units, ‌from ‌710,347 units a ⁠year earlier.
