EUREKA, Juab County — A wildfire sparked overnight Saturday in Juab County north of Eureka and exploded to more than 1,000 acres by morning, officials said.
The blaze has burned into portions of Juab, Utah and Tooele counties, but no structures are currently threatened by the fire, Utah Fire Info said.
The fire, which was determined to be human caused, is being battled by multiple fire crews on the ground and by air, with more on their way.

The smoke from the new wildfire, dubbed the Iron Fire, and smoke from the Sawmill Fire burning in Iron County are blanketing much of Utah's skies with a hazy layer of smoke, state fire officials noted. Smoke from wildfires in Nevada and Arizona has also drifted into Utah to create poor air quality.
