SALT LAKE CITY — Officers are at the scene of a deadly crash in the area of 5600 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City police announced Wednesday afternoon.
Salt Lake City Sgt. Gregory Wilkins said the incident involves a semi-truck and a van and the incident may cause delays for people on Interstate 80.
A Utah Department of Transportation camera in the area shows rows of cars backed up on the westbound highway. People are being asked to avoid the area if possible.
