LEEDS, Washington County — A pilot suffered critical injuries in a helicopter crash near Leeds on Monday.
Crews responded the incident in the Silver Reef area just after 1 p.m..
The helicopter had two people on board, according to Hurricane Valley and Rescue. The pilot was transported to St. George Regional Medical Center in critical condition, but was said to be stable. Another occupant was evaluated on scene but declined further treatment.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office will investigate the crash.
