ST. GEORGE — St. George residents will have two opportunities next week to meet and greet candidates running for mayor and City Council before the primary election set for Aug. 12.
On Monday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 23, meet-and-greet events will be held at Pine View High School and Utah Tech University, respectively.
There are currently four candidates vying for the mayor's position and seven candidates competing for City Council seats.
Mayoral candidates include incumbent Mayor Michele Randall, current city Councilman Jimmie Hughes, former council candidate Aros Mackey and newcomer Brannon Razo.
