BOUNTIFUL — A sinkhole in Bountiful on Wednesday caused a partial street closure expected to last through Thursday.

Bountiful city officials said the sinkhole near 2600 South and 450 West caused an eastbound lane closure in the area.

The lane is estimated to be closed until the end of day Thursday while crews fix the sinkhole, the city says. The closure is expected to impact evening and morning commutes in the city Thursday.
