KAYSVILLE — A motorcyclist was flown to the University of Utah Hospital in critical condition on Saturday after a crash, police said.

About 6:20 p.m., a bystander reported that a motorcyclist with "apparent head injuries" was lying in a grassy area off the shoulder of the road near 1050 East and Ward Road in Kaysville, police said on social media.

The motorcyclist was flown by medical helicopter to the hospital, where he remained in critical condition as of Sunday, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
