RICHFIELD — A man was killed Monday afternoon when the utility terrain vehicle he was driving was hit by a car in Richfield.
Richfield police said the crash occurred just after 4 p.m. at 1100 S. Main Street. When the car and the ATV collided, the ATV driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The man was taken to a hospital but pronounced dead shortly after. Police said an unidentified number of occupants in the car were also transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
