PARIS — Yannick Noah has been appointed captain of France's men's wheelchair tennis team and will lead the squad at the Paris Paralympic Games next year. Noah, a celebrity in his home country, guided France to Davis Cup titles in 1991, 1996 and 2017. He also captained France to its maiden victory in Fed Cup in 1997. The wheelchair tennis events will take place in August-September next year at Stade Roland Garros, where Noah became the last Frenchman to win a Grand Slam tournament in 1983.
