The Bruins and Broncos meet at SoFi Stadium to kick things off.
Why UCLA will win: The Bruins ended their final Pac-12 season with a bad loss to Cal to drop three of their last four games, but the one win was an impressive 38-20 victory at crosstown foe USC.
Why Boise State will win: The Broncos are riding high into the bowl game with four wins in a row, including a 44-20 win over UNLV in the Mountain West Conference title game.

Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl: Cal (6-6) vs. Texas Tech (6-6)
Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7:15 p.m. MST (ESPN/ESPN+)
Pac-12 meets Big 12 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Why Cal will win: The Golden Bears finished off their Pac-12 time with three straight wins, culminating in a 33-7 win over UCLA with 101 yards and two touchdowns from receiver Jeremiah Hunter.
Why Texas Tech will win: The Red Raiders had three wins in a row in Big 12 play before a 57-7 loss to Texas to end the regular season. Running back Tahj Brooks is at 1,443 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the season.

Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl: Georgia Tech (6-6) vs. UCF (6-6)

Why Georgia Tech will win: Yellow Jacket quarterback Haynes King is letting it fly this season with 26 touchdowns on 2,755 passing yards and lost by just 8 points to Georgia in the regular season finale.
Why UCF will win: Running back RJ Harvey has 16 touchdowns on 1,296 rushing yards, including two scores on 136 yards in the 24-13 win over Houston to finish the regular season.

Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl: James Madison (11-1) vs. Air Force (8-4)
Saturday, Dec. 23 at 1:30 p.m. MST (ABC/ESPN+)
James Madison is looking to cap off an impressive season with a win in Fort Worth.
Why James Madison will win: The Dukes lost just one game all year in a 26-23 overtime loss against Appalachian. They'll enter the bowl game with plenty of momentum after a 56-14 win over Coastal Carolina to end the regular season.
Why Air Force will win: The Falcons lost their last four games of the season after starting the year 8-0, though the final two losses came by single digits.
Line: James Madison -3.0
Over/under: 41.5
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl: Georgia State (6-6) vs. Utah State (6-6)
Saturday, Dec. 23 at 1:30 p.m. MST (ESPN/ESPN+)
Aggies heading north to Boise.
Why Georgia State will win: The Panthers are putting up numbers despite five losses to finish the regular season, getting 17 and 13 touchdowns from their starting quarterback and running back, respectively.
Why Utah State will win: The Aggies went down to the wire to become bowl-eligible this year, requiring a 44-41 double-overtime win at New Mexico. Leading receiver Jalen Royals had two more touchdowns against New Mexico to bring his total on the year to 14 on 1,023 yards.

SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl: Utah (8-4) vs. Northwestern (7-5)
Saturday, Dec. 23 at 5:30 p.m. MST (ABC/ESPN+)
It's not the Rose Bowl, but the Utes are still heading southwest for a postseason Power-5 matchup.
Why Utah will win: Bryson Barnes has committed to playing in the bowl game despite entering the transfer portal, bringing his 12 touchdowns and 1,517 passing yards to Las Vegas.
Why Northwestern will win: The Wildcats got three consecutive wins to end the season and quarterback Ben Bryant will go toe to toe with Barnes with 1,585 yards and 11 touchdowns.
