SALT LAKE CITY — As the clock struck zero Friday night, Utah found itself on the other end of a double-digit Oregon State victory.

It was a night Utah would like to forget as it enters its bye week, but one that should prompt change to an offense that has been lackluster and ineffective with starter Cam Rising still sidelined with injury.

With the loss, Utah dropped in the latest Associated Press Top 25 rankings after reaching a season high of No. 10 a week prior. Utah moved down to No. 18, an eight-spot drop, but enough to stay inside the rankings for another week.

Utah remains one of six teams ranked from the Pac-12 this week, though the Utes now become the lowest-ranked team still inside the Top 25.

Washington, which got a bit of a scare from Arizona this weekend, remains the top team ranked from the Pac-12 at No. 7. Behind the Huskies is No. 8 Oregon, No. 9 USC, which dropped for the second straight week with a win, followed by No. 13 Washington State and No. 15 Oregon State. UCLA and Colorado continue to receive votes.

Though the Pac-12 once had eight team ranked in the Top 25 to lead the nation, the conference is now tied with the SEC, which also features six teams inside the Top 25 this week.

At the top the rankings this week is Georgia at No. 1, but the Bulldogs have the least amount of first-place votes they've had all season at 35. Behind Georgia is No. 2 Michigan (12 first-place votes), No. 3 Texas (10), No. 4 Ohio State (1) and No. 5 Florida State (4).
