SALT LAKE CITY — In a week that wasn't expected to provide a lot of drama, the drama delivered.
BYU defied the majority of Pick'em selections and got a win on the road against Arkansas. Only 21% of all picks had the Cougars coming out of Fayetteville with a win — someone even picked the exact score perfectly!
Outside of the Cougars, the majority of people chose wisely in their selections last week. Sorry to those who thought Arizona State had a chance against Fresno State. Even if you did select Fresno State, who had the Bulldogs shutting out the Sun Devils?
This week, Utah fan Diane Pratt topped the leaderboard with 200 points and an undefeated record for the week. Rounding out the top three is BYU fans Michael Grace (199 points) and Lopeti Misinale (198 points). Talk about a close finish for these three individuals!
Congrats to our winners, who will get a $100, $70 and $30 Visa gift card, respectively, courtesy of Goldenwest Credit Union.
The overall winners of Pick'em this year will receive a $500 gift card for first place, a $250 gift card for second place and a $100 gift card for third place. So far, two BYU fans top the overall leaderboard, but there's a long season ahead.
