OGDEN — Troopers have identified Tyler Larsen, 23, from Willard as the motorcyclist killed in a crash on I-15 early Saturday.

Larsen was heading north on the freeway in Ogden when his motorcycle hit the center concrete barrier at 1:44 a.m., according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The crash caused him to be thrown from the motorcycle, over the median and onto the southbound travel lanes.

Larsen was then hit by multiple southbound vehicles, causing fatal injuries, troopers said.

I-15 was closed to both northbound and southbound traffic for hours while troopers investigated.
