TOOELE — Main Street in Tooele was temporarily closed at 400 South after a crash involving a semitruck resulted in a "substantial" fuel leak, police said.
Tooele Police Cpl. Colbey Bentley said a passenger vehicle didn't yield and was hit by an oncoming semitruck while turning west onto Main Street about noon Monday.
No serious injuries were reported, but the road was closed due to a large amount of fuel that leaked.
"It's pretty substantial," Bentley said. "It's all over the road over there."
Investigators told KSL-TV that around 75 gallons of diesel fuel leaked onto the road.
