(KSL News) Utah Highway Patrol troopers arrested a suspected car thief in an office building. A trooper gave chase yesterday afternoon after he ran a license plate check and determined the car was stolen.

The driver pulled into the Union Park area and ditched the car outside a Sweet Tomatoes restaurant. Officers arrested two women there, but later released them.
K-9 units tracked down the driver, Amelio Monti, 25, after he ran into the Century 21 office building. He was then arrested.
