SPRINGVILLE — Police are investigating the suspicious death of a Springville man, who was found dead in the front seat of his van earlier this month.

Investigators say they responded to calls about an unresponsive man in the front seat of a vehicle near 1851 N. Parkway Court at 11:15 p.m. on Oct. 8. They found a man — later identified as 56-year-old Bobby Pool, of Springville — dead in the driver's seat.

Investigators say Pool's death is suspicious and is being investigated, although they didn't provide further information, in order not to interfere with the investigation.

Springville police are asking that anyone with relevant information contact detective Cpl. Ryan Mulford at 801-491-5554 or detective Sgt. Jason McCoy at 801-491-5528.
