IOKA, Duchesne County— A motorcyclist died Thursday in a crash with another vehicle in Duchesne County, troopers said.

About 7:55 a.m., a Harley Davidson motorcycle was driving east on state Route 87 near Ioka when a westbound Jeep Grand Cherokee tried to turn left into a business driveway "and failed to yield to the oncoming motorcycle," the Utah Highway Patrol said.

The motorcycle hit the Cherokee broadside, killing the motorcyclist. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man's name has not yet been released.

The driver of the Jeep was not injured in the crash.
