OGDEN — A 10-year-old girl has died after falling into a pool at a country club in Ogden.
Dispatchers received a 911 call on Friday around 6:20 p.m. that a 10-year-old girl had been found under the water of a swimming pool at the Ogden Golf and Country Club, according to South Ogden police.
People at the pool pulled the girl out of the water and started performing CPR, South Ogden police say. When an emergency crew arrived at the pool they continued CPR.
The girl was taken by ambulance from the country club to McKay-Dee Hospital where she was pronounced deceased, police say.
South Ogden police have not released the name of the girl. Police say nothing about the drowning appears to be suspicious.
The investigation is ongoing.
