OGDEN — A 57-year-old man was found shot in the chest in Ogden on Saturday, police said.

The man is expected to survive, said Ogden Police Lt. John Cox. Police are still investigating the incident.

The shooting happened Saturday afternoon on the 1400 block of Grant Avenue. Cox said have a person of interest who might have been involved and are searching for him.

The name of the 57-year-old man and the person of interest have not been released.

No further information about the incident was available Saturday night, but Cox said there was no threat to the public.

Correction: An earlier version of this story said the man was 54. He is 57.
