DRAPER — One man is dead after driving his motorcycle into the back end of a car Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. near 11900 South State Street in Draper, right in front of Lone Peak Hospital, said Draper Police Lt. Dave Harris.
The motorcyclist, who Harris said was a 44- or 45-year-old male, was wearing a helmet but died from his injuries shortly after the accident.
Harris said that it is unknown if speed or impairment were factors, and that the accident is still under investigation at this time.
The identity of the man who was killed has not been released.
