SOUTH JORDAN — The Amber Alert issued by South Jordan police and the Department of Public Safety for four children early Sunday has been canceled.

The girls were located safely in California with their mother, according to South Jordan DPS in a tweet.

The girls were last seen Saturday about 10:45 a.m. at their South Jordan home. They were reported missing about 3 p.m. the same day by their father when they didn't return home, according to a statement from South Jordan police. The father attempted to locate the children and their mother before filing a report, police confirmed.

While investigating, police decided to issue an Amber Alert for Hazelle Brimhall, 12; Berlynn Brimhall, 11; Autumn Brimhall, 9; and Adelyne Brimhall, 9.

Police have identified the suspect as Allison Brimhall, 39, the biological mother of the children. Police say she has some mental health issues. Brimhall is not allowed to have the girls without supervised visitation, according to the statement. She lives in Southern California and is possibly headed toward the San Diego area, it added.

She is described as having blonde hair and blue eyes. Brimhall is 5 feet 4 inches and 110 pounds. She is likely driving a 2019 white four-door Toyota Tacoma with California license plate number 86197U2, according to the alert. California authorities have been alerted, police said.

Hazelle is described as having blonde hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet 11 inches and 80 pounds.

Berlynn is 4 feet 5 inches and 65 pounds. Her hair and eyes are both brown.

Autumn and Adelyne are both 4 feet. The two girls have brown hair and brown eyes.
