WEST JORDAN — A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in West Jordan on Monday.

The incident happened about 10:30 a.m. at a home in the area of 3500 West and 8200 South. The name of the victim was not immediately released.

The boy, who lives in the home, was found in the basement, according to West Jordan police. It was not immediately known if anyone else was in the house at the time of the shooting.

Police say they are looking for several people to question. Other details about the shooting were not immediately available.
