PROVO — Recruiting is the lifeblood of any collegiate program, and it's no different at BYU.

Below is a brief look at who has already committed to BYU, as well as some players to be on the lookout for in the coming months.

Aisea Moa, DL, Weber HS (Pleasant View)

  • 6-foot-2, 250 pounds
  • Averaged 3.6 tackles for 93 stops with 12.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, one interception in leading the Warriors to a 7-2 record and Region 1 championship
  • Four-star recruit by 247Sports, No. 4 prospect in Utah and top-50 defensive lineman nationally
  • Originally committed to Utah, de-committed and affirmed commitment to BYU on Oct. 10
  • Held offers from Colorado State, Oregon State and Utah State

Cody Hagen, WR, Corner Canyon HS (Draper)

  • 6-foot-1, 175-pounds
  • No. 6-rated recruit in Utah by 247 Sports
  • No. 52 wide receiver nationally in 247 composite rankings
  • Top-10 receiver in UHSAA history with 3,028 yards, 36 touchdowns in three seasons with the Chargers
  • Gatorade Utah Player of the Year
  • Held offers from Arizona, Stanford, Michigan, Utah and others

Dominique McKenzie, WR, Pine View HS (St. George)

  • 6-foot, 170 pounds
  • 3-star recruit by 247Sports
  • Caught 151 passes for 3,214 yards and 32 touchdowns in three seasons with the Panthers
  • Son of former BYU running back Brian McKenzie
  • Also recruited by Virginia, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Oregon, among others

Marcus McKenzie, ATH, Pine View HS (St. George)

  • 6-foot, 170 pounds
  • 3-star recruit by 247Sports
  • Caught 15 passes for 254 yards, three touchdowns as a senior
  • Made 16 tackles, two interceptions on defense
  • Son of former BYU running back Brian McKenzie
  • Also recruited by Virginia, Arizona, Pittsburgh, Cal, Colorado State, among others

Joe Brown, OL, Lone Peak HS (American Fork)

  • 6-foot-3, 285-pound interior lineman
  • 3-star recruit by 247Sports
  • Blocked for 1,861 yards and 21 touchdowns en route to 10-2 record, 6A state title as a senior
  • Younger brother of former BYU offensive lineman Terance Brown
  • Also recruited by Virginia, Indiana, Idaho, Morehead State

Noah Moeaki, LB, American Fork HS (American Fork)

  • 6-foot-3, 205 pounds
  • 3-star linebacker by 247Sports
  • Also played tight end and basketball
  • Caught 28 passes for 422 yards and six touchdowns in nine games as a senior
  • Made 45 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one interception as a senior
  • Also recruited by Air Force, San Diego State, Utah and Utah State, among others
  • Plans to serve two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before enrolling

Jarinn Kalama, ATH, Wasatch HS (Heber City)

  • 6-foot-3, 200 pounds
  • 3-star athlete by 247Sports
  • Played wide receiver, free safety at Wasatch
  • Caught 62 passes for 779 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games as a senior
  • Made 46 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble in 11 games on defense
  • Polynesian Bowl invite
  • Committed in March 2021

Micah Wilson, LB, Corner Canyon HS (Draper)

  • 6-foot-2, 195 pounds
  • 3-star linebacker by 247Sports
  • Totaled 204 tackles, 117 solo stops, 3.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception in three seasons with the Chargers, including 70 tackles and four tackles for loss in nine games as a senior before an injury
  • Younger brother of former BYU quarterback Zach Wilson and current BYU linebacker Josh Wilson
  • Committed in April 2021

Peter Falaniko, OL, Pine View HS (St. George)

  • 6-foot-3, 305 pounds
  • 3-star interior lineman by 247Sports
  • Played with Dominique and Marcus McKenzie at Pine View
  • Oldest of eight, including five younger brothers
  • Also recruited by Colorado State, Fresno State, Georgetown, Hawaii and Oregon State, among others

Vae Soifua, OL, Orem HS (Orem)

  • 6-foot-4, 285 pounds
  • 3-star interior lineman by 247Sports
  • Team captain who also played defensive tackle as a senior
  • Totaled 20 tackles, 19 slo stops, four sacks, two forced fumbles and seven quarterback hurries as a senior
  • Also recruited by Utah State, UNLV, Weber State, Florida Atlantic, Hawaii, Louisiana Tech, North Texas, among others

Cannon DeVries, ATH, Weber HS (Ogden)

  • 6-foot, 165 pounds
  • 3-star athlete by 247Sports
  • Totaled 1,785 receiving yards on 106 catches with 20 touchdowns in three years at Weber, while also running for 405 yards and six touchdowns as a senior in 2021-22
  • Also played safety and currently plays point guard in basketball
  • Also recruited by Southern Utah, Colorado, Weber State and Nevada, among others

Talin Togiai, DL, Rigby HS (Rigby, Idaho)

  • 6-foot-6, 290 pounds
  • 3-star defensive lineman by 247Sports
  • ESPN No. 76 recruit in the Class of 2022, including No. 3 in Idaho
  • Also played offensive line
  • Recruited by Utah and Nebraska

Trevin Ostler, ATH/OL, Bountiful HS (Bountiful)

  • 6-foot-5, 240 pounds
  • 3-star athlete by 247Sports
  • Played offensive and defensive tackle, and also played basketball
  • Totaled 22 tackles and four tackles for loss in 10 games as as senior
  • Also recruited by UNLV and Oregon State

Maika Kaufusi, S, Alta HS (Sandy)

  • 6-foot-3, 180 pounds
  • 3-star safety by 247Sports
  • Also played wide receiver
  • Totaled 622 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns in six games as a senior
  • Made 29 tackles, one tackle for loss, two pass breakups, one fumble recovery as a senior
  • Also recruited by California, Colorado, Utah State and Yale, among others

Liutai Kinikini, LB, West HS (Salt Lake City)

  • 6-foot-3, 200 pounds
  • 3-star athlete by 247Sports
  • Played wide receiver and linebacker for the Panthers
  • Totaled 39 yards and a touchdown on offense
  • Made 31 tackles, a tackle for loss and four pass breakups in 10 games as a senior
  • Also recruited by Weber State

Cooper Ross, TE, Heritage Academy (Mesa, Ariz.)

  • 6-foot-5, 245 pounds
  • 3-star tight end by 247Sports
  • Also played edge rusher
  • Caught 34 passes for 637 yards and 15 touchdowns in six games as a junior in 2020
  • Shut down his recruitment after receiving an offer from BYU following the season

Parker Kingston, ATH, Roy HS (Roy)

  • 5-foot-11, 175 pounds
  • 2-star athlete by 247Sports
  • Played quarterback, running back and wide receiver at Roy
  • Totaled 2,649 passing yards and 24 touchdowns with five interceptions, and 2,066 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns in two seasons with the Royals
  • Previously committed to Air Force
  • Also plays basketball

Brooks Jones, ATH, American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, Ariz.)

  • 6-foot-6, 200 pounds
  • Two-star athlete by 247Sports
  • Totaled 31 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack in nine games as a senior
  • Also plays basketball

Kaden Chidester, ATH, Richfield HS (Richfield)

  • 6-foot-7, 240 pounds
  • Three-star tight end by 247Sports
  • Also played edge rusher for Wildcats
  • Totaled 12 tackles in eight games as a senior for Richfield
  • Also plays basketball
