SALT LAKE CITY — Both directions of State Street reopened at 2100 South in Salt Lake City by 5 p.m. after one person was seriously injured in a crash that took place earlier Monday.
The crash took place just before 2 p.m. at the intersection, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.
One person suffered serious, possibly life-threatening injuries in the crash, according to Salt Lake Police Sgt. Keith Horrocks. The person was transported to a hospital in serious condition.
As of 2:15 p.m., investigators were at the crash scene gathering evidence, Horrocks added.
Further information about the crash wasn't available.
Both directions of State Street at 2100 South were reopened as of 5 p.m. but traffic may still be delayed in the area, according to a tweet by Salt Lake City police.
