(KSL News) Relatives of the teen accused of killing his mother and stuffing her body in a freezer want to prevent him from inheriting her estate.
According to the Deseret Morning News, Laura Hauck's family has filed a petition asking a judge to appoint her sister fiduciary of her estate.
The petition says Jeremey Hauck is not qualified because he is in jail on murder charges. Hauck is currently in the Davis County Jail on charges of murder and theft.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 25.
